Ingredients:
8 DairyBelle Cheddar Cheese Slices
8 Slices cooked ham
200 g DairyBelle Smooth Cottage Cheese
1/2 Red pepper, diced
2 Spring onions, chopped
1 tbs Parsley, chopped
Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
50 g DairyBelle Butter
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Clove garlic, crushed
410 g can All Gold Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 cup Fresh basil, torn up
Salt and pepper
Method:
Preheat oven to 200°C
Place a slice of Cheddar Cheese onto each piece of ham and mix the cottage cheese, peppers, spring onions and parsley together.
Divide the cheese mixture between the cheese and ham slices and roll up.
Grease an ovenproof dish with butter, layer the spinach onto the base.
Place the ham rolls, with the seal side down, on top of the spinach and cover with the tomato sauce.
Tomato Sauce Method:
Melt butter in a saucepan and gently cook the onion and garlic until soft.
Add tomatoes, sugar and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 25 min.
Add the fresh basil
Serve with side salad.
