Ingredients:
12 Thick slices raisin loaf
2 Eggs
5 ml ground Cinnamon
150 ml DairyBelle Good Morning Milk, vanilla flavour
150 ml DairyBelle Real Full Cream Milk
DairyBelle Choice salted butter, for frying
Extra sugar, for sprinkling over
To Serve:
2 x 175 ml tubs DairyBelle Plain Yoghurt
Fresh seasonal fruit of choice
Maple syrup, to taste (optional)
30 ml finely Chopped roasted mixed nuts
Method:
1. Cut each bread slice in half to form rectangles.
2. Beat the egg, cinnamon, Good Morning Milk and Full Cream Milk together.
3. Heat 15 ml butter in a heavy-based frying pan over medium heat. Dip each bread slice into the milk mixture, covering both sides. Sprinkle one side of each slice with the sugar and fry, sugar facing down, for 3 minutes or until golden brown in colour. Sprinkle the tops with a little sugar and flip over. Fry until golden.
4. Serve the bread warm and topped with a dollop of yoghurt, fresh fruit, syrup and nuts
